Articles How to Display a Text File in HTML - FireFox Does not Display Text Files June 25, 2011 Site Information This page is the central link to several future articles about Internet topics that include HTML, CSS, web design and practices. In previous years we had to purposefully code many websites with less than ideal accuracy so that the sites could be viewed by most browsers. Considering the rather huge number of possible errors within a site's HTML and CSS, it is more than remarkable that browsers could display pages as well as they did. The newer browsers have a made a large step forward and are now fairly well capable of displaying web pages similarly, and so we can now redirect our attention away from browser compatibility and instead focus on accuracy as per the W3C standards.
